Deep cleaning in Wuppertal
Maintenance cleaning holds a condition. A deep clean creates it in the first place — after which maintenance cleaning holds it again.
A deep clean goes where daily work cannot: under the coating, into the joint, behind the furniture. It is not an unusually thorough cleaning day but a separate job with its own equipment — machines, time, and usually a building that is not in use while it happens.
When a deep clean is due
There are three occasions, and they have little to do with one another:
At a change
Tenant change, move-out, handover. Here a date decides, not a condition: the space has to be fit for acceptance on a particular day.
When the floor demands it
Coated floors build up a layer over the years that no amount of mopping removes. Once or twice a year it is stripped and rebuilt — otherwise the covering itself starts to suffer.
After the exceptional
Water damage, smoke odour, a long vacancy, construction dust. One-off situations that have nothing to do with the normal schedule.
Creating and holding are two jobs
A deep clean does not replace maintenance cleaning, and no amount of maintenance cleaning replaces a deep clean. Save on one and you pay for it on the other — usually with interest, because a neglected covering ends up replaced rather than cleaned. Renewing a linoleum floor costs several times what ten deep cleans would have.
What deep and special cleaning covers
Unlike a scheduled contract, the scope here is set per job — by area and by condition.
Machine floor cleaning
Scrubber-dryer, single-disc machine, wet sanding — according to covering and soiling.
Sealing and impregnation
After the deep clean the protection is rebuilt. Without that step the covering is clean and unprotected — and a year later worse off than before.
Bonded soiling
Adhesive residue, limescale, paint, rubber marks — everything mopping does not shift.
Washrooms and showers
Joints, taps, deposits. The area where a deep clean shows most clearly.
At move-out and tenant change
“Broom clean” is not a standard but an agreement. What the landlord expects, we put in writing first.
Carpet and upholstery cleaning
Spray extraction for carpets, chairs and seating groups.
Common questions
How long does a deep clean take?
It depends on area, covering and condition — a number without a site visit would be a guess. The timing matters more than the duration anyway: deep cleans usually run over a weekend or a closure, because the surfaces cannot be walked on in between.
Do I have to move the furniture out?
Not necessarily — but it has to be settled who moves it. We take that on when it is in the quote. Without that clarity both sides stand in front of the same cabinet on the day, and the appointment collapses.
What does a deep clean cost?
It is billed per job, by area and condition — not monthly. Which is why the price comes after the site visit and not before it.
How often does a floor need it?
For coated hard floors in commercial use, once or twice a year; for textile floors it depends on the load. If the deep clean is written into your contract, we carry it as a separate item — it does not vanish into the monthly price.
