Maintenance cleaning in Wuppertal

Maintenance cleaning is recurring cleaning during normal operations: daily, several times a week or monthly, to a fixed plan. What separates it from a deep clean is not thoroughness but predictability — what happens when is agreed in advance, and can be checked afterwards.

How often does it need cleaning?
No single number fits every building. Three things decide:
How many people walk in each day
An office with eight desks and a practice seeing eighty patients a day do not get dirty at the same rate — even at identical floor area.
What the rooms are used for
A meeting room booked twice a week needs a different rhythm than a kitchenette or a workshop. Washrooms never follow square metres anyway — they follow the number of users.
What the floor is made of
Carpet holds dirt and forgives longer intervals. Pale hard flooring shows every day whether it was cleaned yesterday — or wasn't.
Five times a week is not 260 visits
We work the schedule out against the real calendar, not a monthly average. Easter moves, public holidays land on a different weekday each year, a leap year adds a day. Five times weekly, with holidays deducted, gives:

What maintenance cleaning covers
The binding scope is in your scope of work. This is the usual frame.
Floors and carpets
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming; care according to the covering. Coatings are maintained, not stripped away.
Ceilings, walls, doors and windows
Hand marks on doors and light switches, interior glass, reachable window surfaces.
Furnishings
Desks, shelves, chairs, waste bins, kitchen units. What gets used gets cleaned.
Washrooms
WCs, basins, taps, mirrors, tiles. Disinfection where it belongs — not everywhere.
Consumables
Soap, paper, towels: checked and refilled before the dispenser runs out.
Stairwell and entrance
The building's first impression — and the area that gets dirty again fastest.

Inspected items are drawn, not chosen, with at least one from every area. Anyone who picks what to inspect always finds it clean.
Proof on the noticeboard
A QR code in the building. Scan it and you see when it was last cleaned — no login. No names, no account, just the date.
Hours that are evidenced
Clocking in and out on site, with location. The hours on your invoice are the hours that were worked.
How to recognise a sound quote
Should be in there
- A written scope of work — what, where, how often
- Named staff rather than changing faces
- One contact person, with a name and a direct line
- A price that follows a site visit
Should raise an eyebrow
- A per-square-metre price with no site visit
- “Cleaning as required” with no fixed schedule
- An hourly rate that cannot cover the sector minimum wage plus employer contributions — somebody is subsidising it, and it is not the contractor
- No statement of who supplies materials and consumables
Common questions
Do you bring your own materials and equipment?
Yes. Materials, machines and consumables are ours unless agreed otherwise. If you would rather supply them — because you require particular products, for instance — we record that in the contract and take it off the price.
When does the cleaning happen?
Normally outside your business hours, early morning or evening. The time windows are in the contract. Night, Sunday and public-holiday work is possible but carries premiums — we name those beforehand, not on the invoice.
How long am I tied in?
We discuss that at the site visit. We prefer long relationships, because a settled team is half the quality difference. But we don't hold anyone to notice periods they can't see coming: termination windows are in the contract, and we remind you in good time.
What does it cost?
